Biography
Cristina Ji is an exciting new name in the world of digital art. Born in Spain, Cristina moved to the UK in 2020 to pursue her passion for animation. Although she decided to leave university during her first year, this decision allowed her to dedicate more time to her personal art using social media as a virtual gallery.
Her first viral post, "Hate is a Virus," addressed the surge of hate crimes against the Asian community during the pandemic and gained widespread recognition in the press and even a TEDx talk. In 2021, Cristina landed her first major partnership, creating an illustration for Disney Pixar's film "Luca". She also returned to university to study Game Art, focusing on creating and designing assets for the gaming and film industry.
She joined META's wellbeing collective as a content creator in 2023 and started an internship as a 3D Artist with Warner Brothers' TT Games the same year.
Her impressive portfolio includes illustrations for clients such as the NBA and popular games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. Cristina's work has been showcased at several art expos, including Japan Expo, DOKOMI, and Japan Weekend.
